The name Sai Baba is derived from the Persian word sai, which Muslims use to refer to a holy person, and the Hindi word baba, which means father.

The early years of Sai Baba are unknown. Sainath’s identity has been an unsolved mystery. There aren’t many details concerning his name or religion, as well as the early days of his existence. There are a lot of facts about Sai Baba and his life and events that are yet to be discovered by a lot of us.

We all know who Sai Baba is, and we’ve all heard about his miracles or short stories about how he helped poor, vulnerable, and even beggarly people overcome poverty, trauma, and depression. The most well-known Shirdi Sai Mandir is one of the holiest religious festivals in India.

The miracles and real-life accounts of the great saint Sai baba are beyond belief and are considered phenomenal in Indian history. Baba was an Indian spiritual Guru who was best known for solving problems for his devoted followers.

There are several miraculous tales and true events that demonstrate Baba was superhuman and remained in Shirdi ever after to fathom all of his dear and ardent followers and devotees’ difficulties and challenges MAGICALLY and Mystically. I am going to mention some of the miracles done by Shirdi Sai Baba.

Miracles Of Shirdi Sai Baba

Miracle #1: Wheat Grinding

There was a Cholera outbreak in Shirdi at one point. Baba was approached by helpless Shirdi citizens seeking assistance. After washing his hands and face, Baba took some wheat and began grinding it in a hand mill. Then he instructed the villagers to take the flour and scatter it around the village’s perimeter. The cholera outbreak subsided after that, thanks to Baba’s grace, and the people of the village were relieved. By grinding wheat, Baba simply meant that cholera was ground to a pulp and forced out of the village, not the wheat.

Miracle #2: Turning Water Into Oil

Sai Baba used to light earthen lamps in the Dwarkamai every night. He requested oil from the grocers for this purpose. People thought of Baba as a crazy fakir at first, so the grocers gave him oil just for the fun of it. They eventually grew tired of this everyday routine, and one day they all refused to give him oil. Baba returned to Dwarkamai with the empty oil tin hanging from his palm. He drank some water from the oil tin, as if to appease the God inside. Then he took more water, poured it into the lamps, and lit them one by one. The resulting “water lamps” burned all night. Those who had come to mock stayed to applaud. This incident proved Baba’s supernatural abilities beyond a shadow of a doubt so from then people used to recite Sai Baba Aarti Lyrics in Shirdi Sai Nath’s Temple.

Miracle #3: Increasing The Well’s Water Level

When Sai Baba first arrived in Shirdi, there were no basic amenities. There was a well that was only mentioned in passing. It had no natural spring water, and if there had been one, it had dried up long ago. Water had to be brought in from afar. When Sai Baba gave the villagers permission to celebrate the Ram Navami Fair (Baba’s Birthday), the main issue the organizers faced was a lack of water. So what else can they do but bring their dilemma to Sai Baba? “Oh yes,” Sai Baba said, “so you want a lot of water, don’t you?” Take this and put it in the well, and we’ll see what happens.” “‘This,” it turned out, was a flower-covered platter with some Prasad (blessed food) and the remnants of alms Baba had got earlier in the day. The villagers had no qualms about following orders. They had complete confidence in Sai Baba. It is said that as soon as that platter of leaves was tossed into the well, the water rose from the depths as if by divine instruction, fully filling it. The public outpouring of joy was enormous.

Miracle #4: Rescuing A Drowning Boy

According to one story, word had spread that a poor man’s 3-year-old daughter, Babu Kirwandikar, had fallen into the well and drowned. When the villagers arrived at the well, they discovered the infant suspended in mid-air, as if held up by an invisible hand! She was quickly dragged away. Sai Baba adored the little girl who would always exclaim, “I am Baba’s niece!” The villagers took her word for it after this incident. People will say philosophically, “It’s all Baba’s Leela.” They couldn’t think of something else to say.
